I was a little nervous about pulling shots by hand, but the lever action is surprisingly smooth and gives you real control. It’s honestly the closest I’ve gotten to café crema without dropping serious cash on a machine. Just takes a bit of practice to get the timing right.
I’ve pulled shots every morning for two weeks now, and the manual lever gives me total control over pressure — my espresso comes out with a thick crema every single time. It’s a bit of a ritual, but honestly that’s part of the fun.
The lever action takes a bit of getting used to, but the shot it pulls is genuinely thick and syrupy. For what I paid, getting this close to café espresso at home feels almost unfair.
