Swapped out the stock hook and now the whole brew path is stainless, which just feels right for a metal machine. The install took maybe two minutes and the fit is snug with zero wobble when I lock it in. Cleanup's easier too since there's no plastic seam to catch coffee oils.
Finally, zero plastic touching my puck from start to finish. The stainless hook feels solid and threads in cleanly, and the whole upgrade took me less time than pulling a shot. Worth it just for the peace of mind.
