I was skeptical about swapping out the original, but the etched surface really grips the grounds differently—brew flow is more consistent and my extractions taste noticeably cleaner. Took about two minutes to install on my 2GO and it hasn't budged since.
The fit is snug against the basket, and the etched texture keeps the filter from sliding around mid-pour. I swapped out my old screen and noticed the coffee bed sits flatter, which seems to help drawdown finish a bit more evenly.
The etched surface grabs the grounds way better than the flat one I had before, so no more slipping during tamping. Fits my 2GO perfectly and cleans up in seconds.
