PRO Preheat Cap

The silicone is really well made and fits the portafilter snugly, so no mess when I’m loading the basket. It’s become my go-to pad for tamping too, and the preheat definitely keeps the group head warmer between shots.

My espresso shots come out more consistent now that I preheat the portafilter with this silicone cap, and it doubles as a solid tamping pad so I don't have to juggle tools. The fit on my PRO 2 is precise, no wiggling, and it handles the heat without any smell.

Tamping is so much cleaner now with this cap on the portafilter, and it really does keep the basket warm while I pull a shot. The silicone is thick enough that it stays put without sliding around, which was my main worry.
