The stainless steel body feels rock solid compared to the flimsy plastic one I was using before. The o-rings seated perfectly and the seal is tight enough that I’m pulling shots with way less effort. Honestly, this thing should’ve come with the machine from day one.
The old plunger was starting to scratch my portafilter, but this replacement is a massive upgrade, the stainless steel glides so much smoother and the two o-rings came pre-installed which saved me the hassle. Even after a month of daily pulling, the seal is still as tight as day one.
The o-rings fit snugly and the stainless steel feels solid in hand, making the pull on my PRO 2 noticeably smoother than the stock part. I’ve run about a dozen shots through it so far and the seal hasn’t slipped once. Exactly what I needed.
